Empty recycling bins into the proper recycling dumpster will ensure that your business is doing their part to lower costs and reduce landfill waste.
Placement of recycling cans next to trash cans increases the chances of getting more recyclables into the correct container.
Posting signage to remind employees to recycle specific items (cardboard, paper, etc.) will keep those materials from going into the trash. Communication is essential. Newsletters and flyers also reinforce the message.
Properly labeling indoor recycling containers will help employees and customers use the right bin to ensure a successful recycling program.
Remember to keep your food waste items in the trash bin only. Containers that have food waste should be rinsed out prior to placement in the recycling bin.
